Course objectives

The main objective of the course is to introduce students to the key aspects of neuroscience, encompassing the acquisition of various skills in molecular, cellular, physiological, electrophysiological, anatomical, and computational areas.

To achieve this, the program includes interdisciplinary coursework and research focused on:

  • Neuroanatomical and neuromorphological disciplines
  • Cellular neurobiology and neuronal development, with a particular focus on stem cell biology
  • Neurological, neuropathological, neurophysiological, and neurobehavioral disciplines
  • Neuropharmacology
  • Neurogenetic and molecular disciplines
  • Advanced methods in neuroscience
